Thanks to persistent building of operations, ALTEO has become one of the defining players of the domestic energy sector in 2019.<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company continues to strengthen its position among so-called ESG companies who focus on sustainable mindset and keeps utilizing the business opportunities of the energy segment. (The abbreviation ESG \u2013 Environmental, Social and Governance &#8211; refers in international practice to companies, investors and investment firms who place special emphasis on sustainability in their operations.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-12744 aligncenter lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/bcsdh.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Alteo_-Jelentes_1600x600-400x150-300x113.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"150\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 400px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 400\/150;\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The three-year investment cycle announced in 2016 has come to a close in 2019, during which the company realized in excess of HUF 20 billion investment and development volume, <strong>mainly focusing on renewable energy sources<\/strong>. The solar power investments in Monor, Nagyk\u0151r\u00f6s and Balatonber\u00e9ny have been delivered, and with the purchase of the wind farm park in B\u0151ny, an acquisition has also taken place. As a result, the power plant portfolio leaning on renewable energy has expanded to a total of 54 megawatts, which translates to over 50 percent of the entire power plant capacity of the company. The reconstruction of the hydroelectric plant in Gib\u00e1rt was also launched in 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company has launched its <strong>Waste Management Division<\/strong> in the spirit of circular economy.
