The Property Investment Forum organized by Portfolio.hu was the ninth year when the real estate market assembled to discuss the main questions and future prospects of the property investment market. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Project of the Year title is a very honorable and important one for Skanska as it was adjudicated by those colleagues who are working in this market and have the leading role to define where our business is going. 2013 was a successful year for us. Green House reached 93% occupancy before its first anniversary. We believe that Nordic Light, our coming project on V\u00e1ci Road, will be as rewarding as Green House\u201d, Grzegorz Strutynski, Managing Director of Skanska Property Hungary, said after receiving the award.<\/p>\n<p>Completed in December 2012, Green House is the greenest commercial development project on the Hungarian office market, and the first one to certify for LEED Platinum with a top score. Tenants of Green House benefit from an ideal combination of sustainability, creativity, work efficiency and cost-effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0one-phase, category\u00a0&#8220;A&#8221;, standalone office\u00a0development is located in the 13th district of Budapest,\u00a0next to the V\u00e1ci Road office corridor, and bordered by Kass\u00e1k Lajos, T\u00fcz\u00e9r and L\u0151port\u00e1r Streets and Kass\u00e1k Park. The green office building was carefully planned to create ideal workspaces, while also considering the micro and macro environment. Cutting edge environmental solutions and green technologies were applied in each and every development phase to minimize the building\u2019s environmental footprint, and reduce its energy use and carbon dioxide emissions.<\/p>\n<p>The building comprises approximately 20,000 sq m GBA on 7 levels above ground, providing 17,800 sq m GLA and 252 car parking spaces on 3 underground levels.
