{"id":6149,"date":"2016-09-20T17:03:31","date_gmt":"2016-09-20T15:03:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bcsdh.hu\/?p=6149"},"modified":"2016-09-20T17:03:31","modified_gmt":"2016-09-20T15:03:31","slug":"regardless-of-size-and-industry-climate-change-poses-a-risk-to-all-businesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bcsdh.hu\/en\/news\/regardless-of-size-and-industry-climate-change-poses-a-risk-to-all-businesses\/","title":{"rendered":"Regardless of size and industry, climate change poses a risk to all businesses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Regardless of size and industry, climate change poses a risk to all businesses- business leaders agreed on this statement at BCSDH\u2019s CEO roundtable conversation in September 2016. \u00a0Within the framework of the three-year-old Action2020 Hungary program, this year\u2019s focal topic is Climate Change.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the first week of September, CEO roundtable conversations took place on <strong>3 different occasions<\/strong> with the participation of <strong>34 CEOs <\/strong>from more than <strong>10 industries<\/strong>. The aim of these conversations was to identify answers to the challenges posed by climate change, and to define the focal areas where BCSDH can formulate recommendations for the business sector. The roundtable conversations were hosted by three BCSDH members: <strong>Unilever, MagNet Bank<\/strong> and <strong>Henkel<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6017 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/bcsdh.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DSC_4346.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_4346\" width=\"900\" height=\"436\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 900px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 900\/436;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants agreed that companies, regardless of their size and industry, have an impact on climate change and should bear the business risks associated with it.
