Since its foundation in 1964, JCDecaux outdoor media company has been committed to delivering the highest quality in public space advertising. Operating in more than 80 countries around the world, they have been present in Hungary since 2004. The company, led by CEO T\u00edmea Jamniczky offers creative and unique solutions in three main business areas – street furniture, traffic advertising and billboards – to help make our cities more sustainable, attractive and modern.<\/p>\n
Sustainable development is an integral part of the Group’s activities. 49.5% of their activities are already aligned with the low-carbon transition objectives. Their priority projects include self-service bicycles, street furniture that supports sustainable mobility (bus shelters\/Abribus\u00ae) and their contribution to financing ground transport through royalties.<\/p>\n
Their sustainability journey began more than twenty years ago, with 2030 targets set in 2022 along three main themes. In the area of \u201etowards more sustainable living spaces\u201d, they develop furniture and services that work for everyone. They are committed to promoting responsible outdoor advertising, and in 2022 100% of the Group\u2019s countries committed to implementing and applying the principles of the Code of Conduct for Out-Of-Home Display.<\/p>\n
\u201eTowards an optimised environmental footprint\u201d they deploy an ambitious climate strategy aiming for net zero carbon emission. Since 2022 100% of their electricity consumption covered by renewable energy sources. The third area along which they have formulated their strategy is the theme of a responsible business environment, which includes both: be a responsible employer and conduct business ethically and sustainably.<\/p>\n
At the group level, they measure their performance in frameworks such as MSCI, CDP, Ecovadis, FTSE, and Sustainalytics.<\/p>\n
