The future economy has already begun
In 2026, the European meeting of the Circular Ecomomy Hotspot will come to Budapest.
The three-day event aims to bring together the frontrunners of the circular economy: companies, innovators, policy makers and thinkers. The series started in Belgium in 2016 and has since been hosted by cities such as Glasgow, Luxembourg, Dublin and Santiago de Chile. For the first time, the prestigious event will be held in Hungary.
The Budapest Hotspot 2026 is Europe’s defining event, focusing on innovation, economic transformation and the opportunities for the transition to a circular economy.
A reception on the first day of the event, conferences and workshops on the second day and site visits on the third day will conclude the programme.
