It was the sixth time when CSR Hungary Awards were given to those companies which put sustainability in the heart of their business model. This year in the category of large companies Unilever Hungary has won the award thanks to its complex Unilever Sustainable Living Plan. In its application Unilever Hungary summarized its 10-year-long plan with Hungarian results in focus.
In November 2010 the company set out the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP), the blueprint for achieving the vision to double the size of the business whilst reducing its environmental footprint and increasing its positive social impact. According to the Commitee’s justification Unilever Hungary has won the CSR Hungary Award thanks to its investments in Hungary for sustainable operations and its unique social programmes.
