ALTEO to replace gas turbine at TVK-ERŐMŰ

ALTEO has signed a general contractor agreement worth approximately EUR 15 million with TVK-ERŐMŰ. The project concerns the combined-cycle power plant that supplies heat and electricity to MOL Petrolkémia Zrt.’s Tiszaújváros site: ALTEO will replace the gas turbine, which has reached the end of its service life, and refurbish the related auxiliary systems.

The investment will extend the plant’s lifetime and allow TVK-ERŐMŰ to continue benefiting from high-efficiency cogeneration. For ALTEO, the contract is another opportunity to build on its decades of experience in gas turbine maintenance and installation. Following delivery of the equipment, on-site installation is scheduled to start in May 2029 and be completed in August.
