ALTEO built MOL’s solar park in Algyő

MOL Group is strengthening the energy supply of its Algyő site with a solar park built by ALTEO. The developments presented on 17 September include a 37.4 MWp solar park and a battery energy storage system with 20 MW output and 40 MWh capacity.

MOL aims to use locally generated renewable energy and energy storage to reduce the site’s external energy needs and make its operations more flexible. Together with the existing on-site power plants, the solar park constructed by ALTEO can cover the site’s entire electricity demand.
